The GKMA has put in over 500 hours of volunteer time at the Duffy Lake campground and area for 2012. We had a very successful clean up day (May 5th) with over 21 participants. All the kids picked up garbage, fire rings were cleaned out and new out-house erected. One out-house was completely destroyed by vandals and needed replacing along with another door and both toilet pedestals. Work will be continuing in the area this year with focus being staging area at 4.5 km, more trail signage, some trail repair works, and the big one will be actual legal trail status.
