Can you imagine the fun that dirt bike riders have while driving through BC’s back-forest country? It’s a ride that requires strength, stamina, and the ability to navigate over rough terrain, through dense forest, and through mud bogs. I got a small taste of that from the back of a dirt bike on Friday evening when Dennis Rombough and Chuck of GKMA showed me around to the best spots for capturing photos of the riders in action.
Sunday’s Chuwels Challenge had a great rider turnout. The course was a gruelling 80 km long for the master class riders, and approximately 46 km long for the rest. For me it required some huffing and puffing on my part with camera gear on my back, to hike into my chosen locations. It was a hot, sunny and beautiful day to be out in the wild.
