As of August 15 – the entire Duffy Lake, Greenstone and Chuwels riding areas are under Evacuation Order due to the Tremont Creek Wildfire.
Do not enter the area under any circumstance – let the firefighters do their job and keep the roads clear for evacuees of the surrounding residential areas.
We are monitoring the fire perimeter around the Rec Site and trails, and suffice to say that our beloved riding area will look quite different by the time this is all over.
We implore all of our members to stay out of the backcountry, and do your rain dances.
